Used Sails for Sale<\/h2>\n

Complimenting our Vessel Donation Program<\/a>, the USMMA Sailing Foundation accepts and resells sail donations for boats large and small. With an established inventory of sails from past boats and stand-alone donations, we’re please to share our inventory with you. Proceeds from the sale of this equipment goes towards funding the foundation’s mission to support maritime education and training through programs such as Warrior Sailing<\/a>.<\/p>\n

“Headsail Max Luff<\/b>” is measured from jib halyard sheave to the tack shackle or horn. For a furling system, measure from the sail attachment points when the system is fully raised.\u00a0“I<\/b>” is measured from the top of the jib halyard sheave to the deck (actually the sheer line).\u00a0“J<\/b>” is measured from the front side of the mast to the intersection of the deck and head stay.<\/i><\/p>\n

We often receive past-season one-design sails for dinghies and larger keelboat classes. View our inventory to see which classes we have in the loft.<\/p>\n

Next time you purchase a used sail for racing or practice, you could be supporting veteran and youth sailing initiatives by purchasing donated equipment from the USMMA Sailing Foundation.<\/p>\n
